Florida Corporate Income Tax

According to the Florida Department of Revenue, all domestic and foreign corporations doing business, earning income, or existing in Florida are required to file Form F-1120, Florida Corporate Income/Franchise and Emergency Excise Tax Return.  The corporate income tax liability is computed using the federal taxable income, modified by certain additions and subtractions to determine adjusted federal income.  Once the Florida net income is determined, it is multiplied by the tax rate of five and one half percent.
